Golden hour + a beachy location equals the most breathtaking photo op! If you’ve ever had professional photos done, you’ve definitely heard the term ‘Golden Hour.’ It’s that magical time of day where the light hits just right and the world seems to have the most magnificent glow. It’s stunning just about anywhere. But, when you’re in the absolutely gorgeous location known as Timber Cove, you’ve hit the photography jackpot.
The light makes the water sparkle and the sand takes on this magical, glistening effect. It’s truly a sight to behold. Golden hour at the beach is simply stunning.
I had the privilege of photographing a bride and groom at Timber Cove Resort last December and the golden hour shots are still some of my favorites. The elegant lace of the bride’s dress was such a beautiful contrast to the earthy backdrop. The way the sunlight was shining at this hour made the entire setting feel aglow. Which is the most romantic look for wedding photos.
I’ve shared before that I’m a big fan of beach weddings and this location is one of the most beautiful places to shoot. It was such a treat to be a part of Meg and Jon’s big day. I’m so glad they chose such a magical location and time of day for their photos.
