You know what’s really awesome about being a wedding photographer? Getting
to see so many different fashion and floral trends, and personalities, and ideas
come to life in event form. I’ve had the privilege of photographing quite a few
weddings over the years, and one thing is certain: there is no ‘one size fits all’
when it comes to planning this important day. And what a treat it is to see the
myriad of ways couples celebrate their love.
Lyra and Sam were married in the backyard of a Santa Rosa home. It was
intimate and romantic and wonderful. The bride wore a sunny yellow dress and
carried a simple bouquet of wildflowers. The couple truly was glowing as we shot
during golden hour, beside an old oak tree.
There are no rules when it comes to planning your wedding. The only thing that
matters is the love that surrounds you. Whether you’re saying “I do” in a church,
or a vineyard, on a beach, or in your garden – this is the start of a marvelous
adventure.
Thank you to Lyra and Sam for inviting me to be a part of your story.
