A wedding ceremony among the redwoods, and a photo shoot on the Pacific Ocean coastline? That’s a photographers dream right there!
I’m such a sucker for outdoor events where everyone can connect with nature and the beauty that surrounds us. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a unique indoor venue, but there is just something magical about being outside. Sunlight and a salty breeze mixed with the rich smell of the earth brings me joy and I am reminded of how incredibly lucky I am to be a photographer. I get to explore this remarkable world we live in and witness some pretty special moments.
Andrea and Ruben chose to say “I do” in a very impressive location. The towering redwood trees at the ceremony site felt quite symbolic. Many redwoods stand firmly in place for centuries. Is there a more romantic or powerful message to be surrounding you on your wedding day?!
As if the majesty of the redwoods weren’t enough, we also shot along the coastline which remains one of my most favorite locations. The Mendocino coast is breathtaking. The water is a sapphire blue and the rocky cliffs are iconic to this region. It truly is one of the most incredible locations for photos.
