Observing motherhood through my lens has been a highlight of my job. I get to work with mamas in every stage of the motherhood journey, from maternity sessions to family photos with grandmothers. It’s a wide spectrum full of magnificent women raising our future generations. It seems that most mothers have a hard time filling their own cups, or making themselves a priority. But these women deserve to be loved the way they love others. One of my favorite ways to celebrate moms is by taking their maternity photos. These beauties are in the midst of a remarkable transformation.
Being able to photograph mothers during their pregnancies is such a source of light. These women truly do have a glow about them. They each have a unique story to tell, but they are bound together by something magical.
We’re fortunate to have an abundance of stunning Wine Country locations at our disposal. I love to return to the same location year after year to photograph families as they grow. I also like to suggest a newborn shoot to follow the maternity session. It’s so fun to see that gorgeous growing belly, followed by a sweet little babe not so long afterwards.
Becoming a mother is an incredibly special moment in your life. You will not regret having professional photos to look back on.
