Here’s What You Need to Know Before Your High School Senior Portrait Session

Hi! I’m so excited to meet you in person soon. Before we get together for your High School Senior Photo Shoot, I want to share a few tips and tricks to help you prepare.

First of all, I promise it will be fun. It’s totally normal to feel a little nervous or awkward during a solo photo shoot, but we will keep things fluid and lighthearted. Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you get ready for our shoot:

Choose a location that is meaningful to you. You’ll find that you’re more relaxed and at ease in a familiar place. If you need some inspiration, I’m also happy to provide suggestions.

Plan to bring 2-3 outfits. This is a great opportunity to let your individual style shine through. Bring an accessory or two. If you’re an athlete, feel free to bring a piece of your uniform or sports equipment. If you’re a musician, bring your instrument. This is about YOU, and what brings you joy.

We’ll spend about an hour exploring the shot location and taking a variety of photos. I’ll guide you through the standard shot list and we’ll create a few that are unique to you, too. Once I’ve uploaded all of the images, I’ll send you a link to view them. From there, you’ll select your favorites and I’ll edit those. You’ll receive your final images shortly after, and you’ll have your favorite shots to look back on for years to come.

If you have questions or would like more information, feel free to reach out. See you soon!
