Don’t Forget to Take Photos During Blue Hour on Your Big Day

Finding the perfect setting for your wedding can feel like quite a task. There are so many remarkable venues, especially in the Wine Country region. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, you can always reach out to a photographer for recommendations. We quickly become well versed in what to look for while searching for a venue, and we tend to have a keen eye for special details. I  recently shot a wedding at SunRay Farms in Sonoma and quickly fell in love with this special place. It is overflowing in natural beauty with a simple, understated vibe. The sunflower fields and rolling hills create the most stunning backdrop and they provide a unique Wine Country experience that you can’t find elsewhere.

We took some blue hour shots with just the bride and groom, and they are magical. If you’re not familiar with the term ‘blue hour,’ this is that magnificent period in twilight, about 3o minutes after the sun has set. The temperature is cooler and the sky is a deep blue, and the lighting is sublime.

If you’re looking for a unique venue in Wine Country, be sure to check out SunRay Farms .

Congratulations to Ian and Kuki!
