Sonoma County is a remarkable region for many reasons, but one of my most favorites is the range of landscapes it encompasses. You’ve got vineyards as far as the eye can see in one area, giant redwood trees in another, and some of the most breathtaking coastline in yet another area. And they’re all within a short distance from each other. The fact that I can photograph a client in a grove of ancient redwood trees, and then at the beach minutes later is pretty rad.
Not everyone will want a location change during their session, but we are lucky to have this as an option throughout much of Sonoma County. It’s such a treat to be able to photograph my clients in different locations. Each spot brings something different to our session, and it’s a huge perk to have such a variety of images to choose from.
Abby and Josiah got engaged recently, and they wanted to have photos by redwoods and the ocean. Check and check! We began in a grove of redwood trees, which is honestly one of the most majestic backdrops for photos. Then we headed to the coast, and found another stunning
spot. The golden hour lighting was perfection and these two lovebirds were simply glowing.
