Spring Day Across Sonoma County | Jack London Lodge, Imagery Winery, Glen Ellen Star
There’s something really special about a wedding day that unfolds slowly… one that feels less like a production and more like a series of meaningful, beautifully connected moments.
Nick and Elizabeth’s March wedding in Glen Ellen was exactly that.
A relaxed morning ceremony by the creek, portraits tucked into the rolling hills of wine country, and an intimate dinner to close it all out. It was simple, intentional, and deeply personal in all the right ways.
As a Sonoma County wedding photographer, these are the kinds of days I love most.
A Quiet Morning Ceremony at Jack London Lodge
The day began at Jack London Lodge & Saloon, tucked beneath towering trees with the sound of the creek running just steps away.
Their ceremony took place in the backyard, surrounded by a small group of their closest people. No distractions. No rush. Just the kind of calm, grounded energy that makes everything feel real and present.
After they said “I do,” we moved right into family photos. Easy, organized, and done in a way that still let everyone stay in the moment.
Portraits at Imagery Winery
From there, we headed over to Imagery Estate Winery for portraits.
This spot is such a hidden gem. Rolling vineyard views, and a little bit of edge that gives photos something extra.
Nick and Elizabeth were completely themselves here. Relaxed, connected, and just enjoying the fact that they were finally married. That’s always the sweet spot.
After portraits, they settled in to enjoy a laid-back lunch and, of course, some of Imagery’s incredible wine. It felt like such a natural extension of the day. No rush, no pressure, just soaking it all in together.
A Pause in the Day… Then Dinner at Glen Ellen Star
Now, I don’t typically split coverage on a wedding day.
But this one made sense.
Because it was early spring and the pace of the day was intentionally relaxed, I stepped away in the afternoon and returned later that evening to document their dinner at Glen Ellen Star.
And honestly… I loved it.
The energy shifted into something even more intimate. Candlelight, incredible food, and that quiet kind of joy that settles in once everything else is done.
It felt like the perfect closing chapter.
