Timber Cove Resort Wedding | LGBTQ, Inclusive, Stunning Photos And Experience You Will Love With One The Best In The Area

When people search for the best Timber Cove wedding photographer, they’re looking for someone who can capture both the wild beauty of the Sonoma Coast and the heart of each love story. Henry and Tyler’s wedding at Timber Cove Resort was the perfect example of why I love photographing here—dramatic cliffs, rolling fog, and an atmosphere filled with love, laughter, and tradition.

A Celebration of Love & Community

Henry and Tyler are two of the kindest, most grounded souls, and their wedding day reflected the love they share not just with each other, but with their families and friends. From the very start, the atmosphere was joyful, supportive, and deeply connected. As an LGBTQ+ wedding photographer in Sonoma County, I am always honored to document love in all its forms. Capturing weddings like Henry and Tyler’s reminds me why visibility and celebration matter—these images are more than photographs; they are part of a larger story of equality, inclusion, and love.

Getting Ready Together

The day began inside the warm, wood-lined suites of Timber Cove. Henry and Tyler helped each other with cufflinks, bowties, and final outfit touches, surrounded by their wedding party. Their moms were right there too, lovingly helping with the small details and soaking in every moment. The room was filled with laughter, warmth, and quiet pauses that spoke volumes about the deep bonds they share—not only with each other but with their families.

Portraits Among the Cliffs

One of the magical things about Timber Cove is its ever-changing weather. On their day, the iconic Sonoma Coast fog rolled in and wrapped everything in a soft, cinematic haze. We leaned into it. Hand in hand, Henry and Tyler stood on the cliffs above the crashing waves, the mist creating a dreamy, timeless backdrop. The photos from this session radiate intimacy, adventure, and the feeling of being exactly where they were meant to be.

A Coastal Ceremony with Jewish Traditions

The ceremony space overlooked the Pacific Ocean, with a chuppah adorned in seasonal florals swaying gently in the sea breeze. Their ceremony honored Jewish traditions in a beautiful way. Guests cheered as the glass was broken beneath their feet—a joyful “mazel tov!” echoing across the cliffs.

These moments are always a highlight for me as a photographer, because they are equal parts sacred, cultural, and wildly celebratory.

Cocktail Hour Magic

One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is cocktail hour. It’s the first chance your guests have to truly relax, mingle, and celebrate after the ceremony. For couples, it’s also the perfect window of time where I get to capture the heart of your community—the hugs, the laughter, the quiet reunions between family members, and the joyful clinking of glasses.

Reception Details

Henry and Tyler’s reception tables were absolutely stunning. The colors were perfectly chosen to complement the natural coastal landscape—soft, earthy tones paired with vibrant florals that echoed the foggy blues and rugged greens of Timber Cove. Every detail felt intentional, seamlessly blending with the surrounding cliffs and ocean backdrop.

Dinner & Toasts

As the sun dipped into the fog, guests gathered for an intimate dinner filled with laughter and connection. The clinking of glasses gave way to heartfelt toasts—stories of friendship, family, and the journey that brought Henry and Tyler together. These moments are some of my favorite to capture: the tears of joy, the roaring laughter, and the way the room feels wrapped in love as everyone raises a glass to the newlyweds.

A Private Cake Cutting

Instead of making it a big production, Henry and Tyler chose to cut their cake privately—a quiet, intimate moment shared just between them. Away from the crowd, it was sweet, simple, and authentically theirs. I love capturing these private pauses on a wedding day, because they balance the energy of the big celebration with tender moments that belong only to the couple.

Joyful Traditions & A Vibrant Reception

No Timber Cove wedding is complete without music and dancing, and Henry and Tyler’s reception was unforgettable. The Horah lifted both grooms high above the crowd as family and friends circled around in laughter and song. The tables were set with vibrant floral arrangements, each one bursting with texture and color against the coastal setting. Later, the couple cut their cake together under the glow of candlelight, a perfect blend of tradition and modern love.

Dancing the Night Away

This group was an absolute blast to photograph once the dance floor opened up! From the very first song, the energy was electric—guests packed the floor, spinning, laughing, and letting loose under the Timber Cove night sky. The joy was contagious, and every candid frame captured the pure fun of the celebration. For Henry and Tyler, it was the perfect ending to a day filled with love, tradition, and unforgettable moments.
