Leaving a familiar city and a home is a huge life change. Especially if it’s somewhere you’ve been for a while, and have a history with. Our homes become a part of us, they hold cherished memories within their walls. This is why I was so honored to photograph Sarah and her kiddos before they moved.
This sweet mom and her three kids invited me to do a photoshoot in their backyard in Santa Rosa. They wanted some images in this special place before they move away, and I instantly saw why. The yard was not only stunning, but it was clear that it was also a place with lots of shared memories.
It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to be a part of the big and small moments in my client’s lives. Major milestones and everything in between deserve to be documented. Photographs are timeless and are a legacy that will live on forever.
