The charming town of Glen Ellen is rich in history, and the iconic Jack London Saloon is one of my favorite historical venues. Known for his many literary works, Jack London spent much of his time in this beautiful area. His land and several of the original structures remain a popular destination for many visitors and locals alike. London immediately fell in love with the rolling hills and open pastures, and recognized the slower pace to be found when you escape the bustle of the city.
The Jack London Saloon is a tribute to the man who put Glen Ellen on the map. The brick building is full of character and charm, and it boasts a delicious menu of food and drinks as well. It’s truly a hidden gem when it comes to wedding and event venues.
The intimate and unique setting of the Jack London Saloon made Jessica and Graeme’s wedding day all the more beautiful. The green foliage on the trees and the brick exterior of the building were a fun blend of the natural and urban. The creekside patio is such a peaceful spot to gather, and the string lights added a romantic glow once the sun began to set.
If you’re looking for a creative space to hold your wedding or special event, the Jack London Saloon is an excellent choice. The antique oak bar, and outdoor patio invite guests to experience a Wine Country destination unlike any other.
Congratulations to Jessica and Graeme! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day, and for reminding me of how magical this location is!
