When Griffin and his family reached out for his senior photos, they had a clear vision: timeless, natural, and full of country character. As a Sonoma County senior high school photographer, I knew just the place to bring that vision to life—a family-owned vineyard in Santa Rosa. With rows of budding vines, rustic barns, and golden light filtering through the oak trees, it was the perfect backdrop for a senior session that felt authentic and personal.
Griffin showed up in true country style—denim, boots, a crisp plaid shirt, and of course, his cowboy hat. We started the session at the edge of the vineyard, where he leaned effortlessly against the wire trellises, soaking up the golden hour light. His Santa Rosa High School jacket made an appearance too, grounding the shoot in both pride and personality.
One of my favorite shots from the session was Griffin leaning against his Chevy truck, parked in the middle of a quiet country road, with vines and trees stretching behind him. It’s a classic image that captures so much of who he is—grounded, confident, and right at home in the heart of Sonoma County.
The session wrapped just as the sun dipped below the hills, bathing everything in warm amber light. Griffin stood tall on an old tractor, framed by vineyard rows and blooming roses, a nod to the agricultural roots of Santa Rosa and the county’s rich farming heritage.
These senior photos were more than just portraits—they told a story. Griffin’s story. His love for country life, his pride in where he comes from, and this major milestone of graduating high school.
