Getting Ready Moments
Before the ceremony, Abby and her closest family and friends gathered in a cozy cottage on the Mendocino coast. The air buzzed with excitement as she did her makeup, her children nearby, while bridesmaids laughed and fanned her with playful joy. Across the property, Josiah and his groomsmen suited up — looking sharp and ready for the big moment.
Ceremony in the Dahlia Garden at Mendocino Botanical Gardens
The ceremony was held in the Dahlia Garden, one of the most iconic spaces within the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. Rows of dahlias in full bloom framed the couple as they exchanged vows, adding bursts of color to every frame.

Fun Wedding Party and Family Photos
One of my favorite parts of the day is photographing the wedding party and family portraits. This time is often thought of as “formal photos,” but I make sure it’s anything but stiff. We laugh, cheer, and keep the energy light — and this is usually when I hear the most compliments about how fun and easy I make the experience.
