Let’s Bring A Little Magic To Your Senior Portrait Session

It can be difficult to choose the right location for your senior portrait session, but luckily I’m here to help! If you ever need suggestions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Part of my job is helping my clients find their right fit in many different ways. Whether you’re unsure of which outfits to bring, or if you’re having a hard time choosing a location- I am always here to be a sounding board for you.

It’s important to find a place where you will feel at ease. If there are lots of distractions and things going on in the background, it can be difficult to relax. It can already feel a bit unnatural to pose for photos, so we want to choose a location where you will be comfortable.

Malley was a school senior at Analy High School, in Sonoma County and we shot in Bodega Bay last November. A major perk to shooting by the ocean is that there is no shortage of stunning places for photos. We have the rocky coastline, the sandy beach, the coastal flowers that bring a pop of color.

One of my favorite moments during this shoot was photographing Malley standing barefoot on a quiet patch of road. Something about the grassy field behind her, and her bare feet on the concrete made for such a unique and gorgeous photo. This is the perfect example of getting creative during a photo shoot. When we think outside the box, magic happens!
