One thing I really enjoy about photographing events is seeing how my clients create a magical moment no matter where they are or who they’re with. There is no right way to celebrate a milestone. All that matters is that the moment is celebrated.
I had the pleasure of working with a couple on their wedding day, and we shot at the breathtaking Montage Healdsburg . Lena and Dan had an intimate ceremony on their balcony overlooking the gorgeous hotel property. There were no guests, which may be non-traditional, but it was absolutely lovely. They had the moment to themselves to share their written vows and their promises to each other. It was one of the sweetest moments I’ve captured through my lens.
After the “I do’s,” we got to wander around the property for a bit. There were majestic oak trees, and vineyards, and meadows, and so many beautiful backdrops for photos. It was such a treat to be a part of Lena and Dan’s wedding.
