One of the many gifts of being a photographer is getting to work with clients on a wide range of projects. From weddings to birthdays to engagements to family sessions to headshots. Every day is an adventure, and I absolutely love getting to know my clients, no matter what we’re photographing.
Another perk of the job is being able to collaborate with fellow women in business. Entrepreneurs tend to spark additional creativity and inspiration in each other, and it’s a true treasure to work with other business owners.
I had the pleasure of working with Melissa Gugni recently as we took some updated headshots for her business. Melissa is a professional organizer and stylist with a keen eye for simplifying your space. Her mission is to create spaces that feel calm and clutter free, so we can truly enjoy our time in our homes, offices, businesses, etc. She brings the zen to organizing and she is such a wonderful human being.
I love seeing my clients in action and being able to photograph them during their process. I think this is a much more real representation of a person than a posed headshot. There is a time and place for those as well, but when you’re promoting your business and a service, we want to see you in your element, am I right?!
