Even though the temperatures in Sonoma County have been ridiculously high lately, I’m already daydreaming of Fall. I love Fall in Wine Country, especially because it means I have a calendar full of family sessions!
Planning a family photo shoot in the Fall is the perfect annual tradition. It gives you updated photos each year so you have keepsakes to look back on forever. And, it’s the perfect
opportunity to have fresh shots just in time for holiday cards.
The Lewis family invited me to photograph them last Fall, and we had a blast! They went with a simple location (their backyard), and wardrobe (jeans and a black top). I really enjoy seeing my clients color coordinate and come up with creative ways to match for these sessions. It’s not often we get the chance to dress like our favorite people and take photos together. Why not embrace it?! And don’t be afraid to incorporate your furry family members too! Family pets are a very important part of our lives, and they certainly deserve to make the holiday card photo.
