A Relaxed Start in Downtown Healdsburg
We kicked things off wandering through downtown Healdsburg, letting the afternoon light guide us. The charm here is unmatched. Soft light filtering through the trees, textured walls, and those tucked-away corners that feel like little European streets.
Near Barndiva, we leaned into the natural elements. The ivy-covered walls, steel gates, and warm tones created the perfect backdrop without ever feeling staged. Nicole and Michael were completely in their element. Laughing, walking hand in hand, soaking it all in.
We also took a little pause at Duke’s Spirited Cocktails just off the plaza. It was one of those unplanned moments that turned into something really special. They grabbed a glass of wine, shared a few laughs, settled in, and I got some really sweet, cozy photos of them snuggling on the couch and sitting at the bar. Honestly, those in-between moments always end up being favorites.
Wine Country Vibes at Riverfront Regional Park
From there, we headed over to Riverfront Regional Park, one of my favorite hidden gems for engagement sessions in Sonoma County.
The shift in scenery was magic. Towering redwoods, quiet trails, and then opening up into vineyard views that just glow at golden hour. It gave us such a beautiful mix. Intimate forest moments and wide, sun-soaked wine country landscapes.
Their love was magnetic. The kind where you don’t have to direct much because it just exists. Those are always my favorite sessions.
