Driftwood Lodge In Jenner Has The Best Views

Nestled along the wild Sonoma Coast, Driftwood Lodge in Jenner is one of the most magical hidden gems for intimate weddings. As a wedding photographer who’s been lucky enough to shoot all over Sonoma County, I can confidently say: Driftwood Lodge is something special. And Stephanie and Chris’s wedding? It was pure magic from start to finish.

If you’re searching for a Driftwood Lodge Jenner wedding photographer to capture your day with care, heart, and attention to the beautiful in-between moments—welcome, you’re in the right place. Let me take you behind the scenes of one of my favorite wedding days to date.

A First Look Among the Redwoods

Stephanie and Chris chose to share their first look in what I can only describe as a real-life FernGully—lush ferns, dappled sunlight, and the towering redwoods bearing silent witness. It was peaceful, private, and incredibly emotional.

As a photographer, these quiet moments before the ceremony are always so rich. There’s something about stepping out of the hustle and into the forest that invites presence. Stephanie walked down a mossy trail toward Chris, the breeze catching her dress just right, and the look on his face when he turned around—whew.

Ocean Views & Sunset Vows

Driftwood Lodge offers something rare: a ceremony space that feels like the edge of the world. Perched high above the crashing Pacific, Stephanie and Chris exchanged vows with their closest people (and a few curious birds) looking on. The light was that soft, golden coastal glow that photographers dream about—warm and moody all at once.

It was a simple ceremony, just the two of them and their love at the center. No frills, no fuss—just intention, laughter, and tears (the good kind).

Dinner Under the Sky, Dancing in the Barn

After the ceremony, everyone gathered for dinner overlooking the sea. Driftwood Lodge creates such an intimate, homey setting—long wooden tables, wildflowers, and candlelight made the whole evening feel like a cozy family celebration.

As the sun dipped low, everyone moved into the barn for dancing. And in true Driftwood Lodge fashion, the resident cats greeted guests like they were part of the party. Yes, cats. They’re kind of local celebrities.

With twinkle lights overhead and music echoing into the night, Stephanie and Chris had their first dance surrounded by joy, sea air, and a whole lot of love.

Thinking About Your Own Jenner Wedding?

Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration like Stephanie and Chris or something all your own, Driftwood Lodge is the kind of place that invites connection—to nature, to each other, to the present moment.
