I love a beach or vineyard backdrop as much as any photographer, but I also love when clients want a different look for their photos. Living and working in Sonoma County is a treat for many reasons, and one of them is the incredible beauty that surrounds us. There are unique, gorgeous locations in every direction.
I had the pleasure of working with a couple recently who chose downtown Sonoma as their location. This area holds a very special place in my heart, and I love when I get a chance to shoot here. The Sonoma town square has a rich history and many of the buildings around the plaza date back to the Franciscan Mission days.
The beloved square provides countless different locations for photos with a variety of structures and landscapes. I met Shaay and Will on the Plaza last October and we had so much fun strolling around. We got a few shots with gorgeous grape vines that were beginning to change from green to that stunning orange and red hue. We got some super fun action shots walking through the crosswalk. And of course a few on the playground, because you are never to old to enjoy the feeling of swinging on a park swing!
