There’s just something about the Sonoma Coast that hits different… and Bodega Head is always one of my go-to spots when clients want that mix of wild coastline, soft light, and a little magic.
Katharine and Alex reached out wanting a few updated couple photos… but also had something really special in mind. They were expecting (!!!) and wanted to end their session with a pregnancy announcement they could share with family and friends.
Safe to say… we made it a moment.
We started simple. Just the two of them, soaking in that golden coastal light, letting things feel easy and natural.
This is always my approach, especially for couples who may not be used to being in front of the camera. Nothing overly posed. Just a little guidance, a lot of movement, and creating space for real moments to happen.
And honestly… that’s where the good stuff lives.
Then came the shift…
They pulled out the ultrasound photos, a tiny onesie, and the sweetest little setup. You could feel the energy change instantly. It went from “this is fun” to “this is big.”
These are the moments I care about most. The ones that feel like something.
