There’s something so timeless about a winter wedding in Petaluma—the cozy glow of lights, the crisp December air, and the way love feels even warmer when everyone gathers close. On December 27th, 2024, Amber and Andrew tied the knot in a day filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and the kind of joy that makes you smile long after the celebration ends.
A Ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul Church
The morning carried an exciting energy as family and friends gathered at St. Vincent de Paul Church, one of Petaluma’s most historic and beautiful spaces. Amber walked down the aisle in her elegant gown, the soft light from the stained glass windows falling around her as Andrew waited at the altar. Their vows felt deeply personal—surrounded by their closest loved ones, you could feel the sincerity in every word.
Before the ceremony began, we carved out a little time for family portraits. With everyone dressed in their best and full of anticipation, it was the perfect chance to capture those formal photographs that will become treasured family heirlooms.
Downtown Love at the Petaluma Hotel
After the ceremony, we stepped out into downtown Petaluma, where the charm of the town set the stage for Amber and Andrew’s couples portraits. The Petaluma Hotel was our backdrop—its historic windows and city sidewalks provided both romance and a little urban edge.
One of my favorite moments? Watching the two of them laugh together as they walked hand in hand, occasionally stopping for a quiet kiss while passersby cheered them on. The hotel gave us the perfect mix of elegance and intimacy, and it was a beautiful pause before the party kicked off.
Dancing Into the Night at the Petaluma Woman’s Club
The celebration continued at the Petaluma Woman’s Club Event Space, and if there’s one word to describe the reception, it’s fun. Guests filled the space with energy—sharing heartfelt toasts, laughing through dinner, and hitting the dance floor the second the music started.
Everywhere I turned, there were little moments worth capturing: friends arm in arm belting out lyrics, parents tearing up during speeches, kids twirling in their formalwear, and Amber and Andrew soaking in every second of being newlyweds.
