Their day started at the Santa Rosa Recorder Clerk’s Office, where these two incredible women exchanged vows surrounded by a handful of loved ones. The light was soft, the energy was calm, and their matching white blazers and fresh blooms set the tone—timeless, effortless, and authentically them.
Elopements at the Santa Rosa Clerk’s Office are some of my favorites to photograph because they’re intimate, stress-free, and perfect for couples who want a meaningful celebration without the fanfare. Sherry and Renee were glowing as they held hands, laughed, and soaked in the moment.
Strolling Through Fall Colors in Sonoma County
After the ceremony, we wandered through a few nearby locations to capture portraits among Sonoma’s golden fall scenery. Their connection is warm and grounded—you can feel it in every glance and touch. Natural, documentary-style imagery always shines when couples simply are themselves, and these two made it easy.
Bubbly + Beautiful Views at Iron Horse Vineyards
To end the day, we headed to one of my favorite spots in all of Sonoma County: Iron Horse Vineyards. With sweeping hilltop views, sparkling rosé, and the soft glow of late-afternoon light, it was the perfect way to celebrate their new marriage.
Surrounded by vineyards and loved ones, they toasted with flutes of Iron Horse bubbles—classic Sonoma County magic. The winery’s relaxed, elegant atmosphere always photographs beautifully, and it was the perfect backdrop for their celebration.
